I'm afraid not. I'm trying to uncover every bit of early scripts myself, but nothing official on bringing back Ke Huy Quan. There was an edit an artist did for fun showing Indy and Short Round fighting mummies if that was what you were referring to. Next thing you know, people shared the edit claimed it as "official" when it is not.
